1) Pray for us.
While we don’t feel we are
moving our family into a dangerous situation, the reality is that the safety,
standards of living, cultural practices, food, language, weather,
infrastructure, and many other things will present immediate and ongoing challenges. Please pray for us in these areas:

Learning the
language (primarily Spanish)

Navigating a
foreign business environment and understanding the culture
·
For our kids in
starting school in a foreign culture with a new language
·
Safety
·
To develop
relationships to help us integrate locally

Spiritual growth
and the opportunity to disciple others

Put your business skills to work in another culture
Another way that some of you
may be interested in participating is by utilizing your business expertise to
make an impact, either from here in the States, or by traveling to a foreign
destination. World Venture has taken the
initiative to build a website that is serving as a Business-to-Missions hub for
linking up expertise with needs and opportunities around the globe. Other organizations beyond World Venture have
projects listed here, and you may find something that fits your skills and
passions.

Partner with us financially
Missions work is
traditionally funded entirely by donations.
Part of our goal and purpose for becoming involved is to provide for
self-sustainable future efforts that can continue to impact Bolivia long after donations
from the U.S. cease to flow. However, we
are currently seeking partners willing to participate with us financially to
allow us to participate on the ground in Bolivia.
Please consider committing a
portion of your income to making a difference in Bolivia. In order for us to move our family to
Bolivia, we need donors to commit to providing a monthly gift for the duration
of our three years in Bolivia. By
providing a monthly donation, you can minimize the impacts on your budget, and
help us develop a consistent source of funding to achieve our mission.
You may also choose to
provide a special donation, rather than make a monthly commitment. These donations will be used to offset
one-time expenses first, and then go toward meeting the needs of our monthly
budget after those needs are met.
